That’s Long Overdue

Privacy

Effective 8 September 2026

The short version. We do not want your personal information and we do not collect it. There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no ads in anything we make. Some products count anonymous usage so we can tell which parts get used. Nothing that identifies you ever leaves your device.

How this policy is organised

This one policy covers everything That’s Long Overdue makes. The section below it, What is true of everything we make, is the baseline and applies to every product without exception. After that there is a short section per product for anything specific to it — because an app store listing has to describe that particular app accurately, not software in general.

If a product is not listed below, the baseline is the whole story for it.

What is true of everything we make

Anonymous usage statistics

Some products count how they are used — app opens, session length, which screens are viewed, which features get used, device model, operating system version and approximate country. It is aggregated and anonymous, it is used only to work out which parts are worth improving, and it is never used to identify you or for advertising. Where a product does this, it says so in its section below, and names the service that processes it.

Purchases

Where a product offers a purchase, it is handled entirely by the app store — Google Play or the App Store. We never receive or see your payment details, card numbers or billing information. The product only learns that a purchase succeeded, so it can unlock what you bought.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included. The anonymous statistics described above are the only data any of our products gathers, regardless of who is using it.

Changes

If a product changes in a way that affects any of the above, this page is updated and the effective date at the top is revised.

Desert Island Draft

A survival game for Android. The baseline above applies in full: no account, no personal information, no ads, and your run history and unlocks live only in the app’s local storage on your device.

What it counts

Desert Island Draft collects anonymous usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase: app opens, session length, screens viewed, and gameplay events such as cards drafted, runs finished and how the castaway died, along with device model, operating system version and approximate country. This is aggregated and anonymous. It is used only to understand how the game is played and to improve it. It is never used to identify you, never used for advertising, and never sold. Google retains it for a limited period (by default fourteen months) and then deletes it. Google’s handling of it is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by Google Play under the Google Privacy Policy. We never see your payment details.

Your progress

Level, unlocked cards, know-how and run history are saved only on your own device. They never leave it and we never see them. Uninstalling the app deletes them permanently — the island keeps no backups, and neither do we.
